Teriyaki Sauce or StirFry Sauce
I found this recipe online, since I needed to use by some left-over steak slices. This recipe will double as teriyaki sauce and as a stirfry sauce. Yum!
3+ cloves garlic, minced
1/2 c. soy sauce
1/4 c. cooking white wine
1/4 c. cooking sherry
1 tsp. sesame oil
1 tsp. molasses
1/2+ tsp. ground ginger
1 tsp. red pepper flakes
1 Tbs. peanut butter
3 Tbs. brown sugar
If using just as a sauce: combine all ingredients, heat & serve.
If using to marinate & cook: combine all ingredients in a crockpot. Add strips of steak. Cover, and cook on low for 4-6 hours. Serve with rice or mashed potatoes.
